Publications:  

New regular (excluding paperless) members joining mid-year will receive publications distributed during their membership period as well as back-issues produced during the current membership year (July 1 – June 30). Renewing regular members will receive current issues of our high quality quarterly NFLCC Gazette published during their active membership period. Renewing “Inactive” members may request back-issues of the NFLCC Gazette and Directory at the cost of shipping. Back-issue distribution is based on availability. 

Regular and Paperless members will have online access to our entire library of past issues of the Gazette and Magazine. Learn more. 

Online Resources:  

All  paid memberships include access our online resources: 

• NFLCC Archive: has hundreds of searchable past tackle catalogs from various makers and retailers
• NFLCC Bookshelf: all past issues of the Gazette and Magazine, along with a searchable Article Index
• Other Resources: the NFLCC Bibliography, listing books on fishing and fishing tackle, interviews with the founders of the Bomber Bait Co., and more

Survivorship Program:

Active members have access to our exclusive Survivorship Program, a program dedicated to helping the survivors of deceased members with disposition of tackle collections. Our program managers will provide guidance to your survivors on the options available to help maximize the benefit to your survivors. Tackle collections are often a significant investment, and we can help guide your family and heirs on the best path forward.

Membership Directory:

Our Membership Directory includes the contact information for all of our current members (including address, email and phone number as available).  It also includes a searchable “What I Collect” section, where members can share their collecting interests and find other members with similar interests.  The Directory is available online to active club members only, and is also published in hard copy once each membership year in September.  (You can opt out of being listed if you prefer, or change your preferences at any time by visiting your profile.)

Regional Shows:

The NFLCC sponsors 15-20 regional shows held throughout the U.S. each year.  Current members may attend as many shows as they like (registration fees apply).  Member benefits include early access to events. Check out some photos from our past shows and see where we’re going next.  

National Meeting and Show:

Current members are invited to our annual July event, held in the U.S. at a site that varies each year (registration fee applies).  It’s a great way to meet fellow collectors, see interesting displays, attend seminars, and learn about all kinds of antique tackle.  Members have access to advance event registration at reduced registration rates for our National Convention. The admission fee for first-time members joining at the National Show (new members) will be waived.  Check out some photos from our past shows and see where we’re going next.   

Get involved:

We owe our club’s strength to the dedication and passion of our members.  Become a member and volunteer to help out for a few hours at a show, lead a seminar, write an article, or offer your professional expertise to help us run the club’s programs.

Our membership year always starts on July 1st and ends on June 30th of the following applicable year. 

• • New members (excluding paperless) joining mid-year will receive the publications that were already distributed for the current membership year, and will be on our mailing list for the remaining issues. 
  • For new members joining after March 1st, your membership will begin immediately and will be extended to June of the following applicable year. Back-issues can be sent for the cost of shipping, but are not automatically sent because this renewal period includes the next full membership year, plus a few months free.
