General Membership Questions

 

When does my membership expire? 

Click here to check your membership status (you must be logged in).  This information is found under My Account > Subscriptions.  Your membership expiration date is also printed on the mailing labels for NFLCC member publications.

How long is a membership valid? 

Our membership year runs from July 1 – June 30 of the following applicable year.  If you are a new member and join mid-year, you will receive the publications that were already distributed for the current membership year.  If you join after March 1st, your membership will begin immediately and will extend to June of the following applicable year.  

Renewing members keeping their membership current by renewing before expiration will continue to receive all publications as distributed and will receive uninterrupted services.

If you’re renewing an expired membership later in the year, late renewals will receive all publications distributed after their renewal date and may request back-issues (if available) be mailed by paying the actual mailing costs.

How much does NFLCC Membership cost?  

To receive full membership benefits, there are 7 paid membership types to choose from: 

    • One year: $35 (US residents only)
    • Three year: $99 (US residents only)
    • Five year: $160 (US residents only)
    • Canada – One year: $60 (USD)
    • Other International – One year: $85 (USD)
    • Paperless Membership: $25 USD – Open to everyone
    • Discounted Membership for Disabled US Veterans: $20 See our Join page for details on this special offer

How long does it take for my membership to become active? 

When will I receive my first publications?

Publications are printed, mailed, and posted online according to the following schedule: 

      • Gazette: September, December, March, and June
      • Membership Directory: September

If you are a new member joining in the middle of a membership year, allow 3 weeks from the date of activation for receipt of any back publications. 

If you purchased a Paperless Membership, you will not receive any printed mailings, but you will have full access to all of our online resources, including the NFLCC Bookshelf, containing all past issues of the Gazette and Magazine.  

Can I attend the National Meeting or a Regional Show?

Current members are invited to all of our sanctioned shows.  A registration fee is required for all attendees.  Additional fees apply if you want to reserve a table on the showroom floor to display your collection.  Immediate family members (spouse, children) may attend for free as your guest.  

How do I access my membership account?

After logging in, go to My Account.  If it’s your first time logging in to our new website, or if you’ve forgotten your password, click the “forgot password” link to set up a new password.  Once you’ve logged in, you can review and update your contact information, see when your membership expires, and renew your membership. 

How do I change my address? 

After logging in, go to My Account.  If it’s your first time logging in to our new website, or if you’ve forgotten your password, click the “forgot password” link.  Once you’ve logged in, you can review and update your contact information. You may also contact our Secretary/Treasurer at or 518-992-5873 to request changes to your address, email, and phone number.

I forgot my password. 

When logging into your member account, enter your email address and select Forgot Password.  You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.  Check your Spam folder if you don’t receive the email within 15 minutes.
