Welcome Message
Welcome to the National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC).
The National Fishing Lure Collectors Club (NFLCC), founded in 1976, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the collection and preservation of fishing tackle. The primary objectives of the NFLCC are to foster awareness of the hobby of collecting fishing tackle, assist the collector in the identification of tackle, and share information among the membership. The NFLCC holds 20 plus regional shows throughout the US and one National show in July. These meetings offer the opportunity to add fishing tackle to your collection, dispose of tackle no longer wanted, exchange information and develop long lasting friendships with other members.
Membership in the NFLCC provides two publications, The Gazette, a quarterly 48-page full-color publication, and a membership directory. Selected examples of The Gazette are available on the web site. After fifty-nine issues, the Magazine has been merged with the Gazette. Membership also provides access to an online rich resource of fishing tackle information with company catalogs and other literature from the late 1880’s forward on both the major tackle companies and many of the smaller independent companies. Take time to explore the web site and the Forum to see the interactive communications among members.
Member collections vary from very modest collections of lures, reels, or other tackle items to very extensive large collections of a wide range of tackle. Some specialize in specific companies, while others focus on companies within a region or state. The NFLCC welcomes all interested in the collection of fishing tackle no matter the size of the collection.
The NFLCC is the premier organization for the fishing tackle collecting community. Thank you for taking the time to visit the NFLCC site.
